2. Ive been invited by the Ministry of Culture of Egypt - to participate in the Luxor International Symposium for Creative Arts ~November 23 to December 13th!!

Artlab llc:
While searching for sustainability as a working artist, I have decided to open my studio under my business name, artlab llc. The Artlab name encompasses my interdisciplinary praxis of artmaking, Forensic Facial Reconstruction services and contract conservation work. The goals of Artlab llc. are to provide a platform for traditional artistic services while allowing time and space for creative research and interdisciplinary investigation; a place for artistic research and development, and the implementation of artistic talents to other areas of study.
I am currently accepting commissions for indoor and outdoor sculpture in stone and bronze, paintings and drawings, and Contract Forensic Reconstruction work. Please contact me if you would like me to send you a propsal request form. I am also building a website for Artlab llc,and revamping my personal site.

Portrait Bust in Clay - Adults- limit 6
6 weeks~ Wednesdays: October 6th to November 10th. 10am to 1 pm.

The objective of this class is to sculpt a portrait head in clay
from a live model. Proportions and Anatomy of facial features and the spatial
relationships will be discussed. Although the traditional academic approach to the portrait head will be emphasized, more intuitive aspects of sculpture will also be explored. This class is planned with the beginning sculptor in mind, however the fundamentals presented will apply to all levels of ability. Relative artists will also be discussed. Work firing is optional for the student.

Other news~
I recently received my Certificate in Forensic sculpture from the New York academy of Art! I traveled to and fro down to Manhattan to complete a course in Forensic sculpture (40 contact hours). ~Forensic facial reconstruction (or forensic facial approximation) is the process of recreating the face of an unidentified individual from their skeletal remains through an amalgamation of artistry, forensic science, anthropology, osteology, and anatomy. It is easily the most subjective - as well as one of the most controversial - techniques in the field of forensic anthropology. Despite this controversy, facial reconstruction has proved successful frequently enough that research and methodological developments continue to be advanced.Three-dimensional reconstructions-Three-dimensional facial reconstructions are either: 1) sculptures (made from casts of cranial remains) created with modeling clay and other materials or 2) high-resolution, three-dimensional computer images. Like two-dimensional reconstructions, three-dimensional reconstructions usually require both an artist and a forensic anthropologist. Computer programs create three-dimensional reconstructions by manipulating scanned photographs of the unidentified cranial remains, stock photographs of facial features, and other available reconstructions. These computer approximations are usually most effective in victim identification because they do not appear too picturesque or too artificial.
In addition to remains involved in criminal investigations, facial reconstructions are created for remains believed to be of historical value and for remains of prehistoric hominids and humans.
I am hoping to employ my newfound talents as soon as possible.Please, if you know anyone in Law Enforcement or an Anthropological/Museum Context, please feel free to refer me.
My forensic and scientific work is available for free, but travel expenses, food and housing are requested until I can grow my reputation and gain experience. Thank you for your help.
9. The 56th Greeley Park Art Show ~Nashua- will be held on August 15th and 16th, 2009.
The show is open to the public and admittance and parking are free.
I have been asked to jury the exhibition for the Nashua Art Association next week -prizes too...ohhh boy! I wont be there long –My opening in NBPT is the same evening!!
